Kratom Tea: How to make it?
Kratom commonly comes in the form of dried leaves and powder. With that said, it’s safe to say that the majority of Kratom users consume this particular botanical product as tea. There are obviously many different ways to consume this substance, but drinking it in the form of tea has proven to be the most hassle-free and pleasant way to take your dose.
If you’re new to this product and you want to learn how to make Kratom tea, then you’ve come to the right place. I’ll be sharing some of the different methods you could use to make your Kratom tea. But I want you to take note that there is one way to consume this without actually turning it into tea. I’ll talk about that later on.
For now, here are some blueprints on how to make Kratom tea. You don’t have to go through so much effort just to take your dose. This article is specifically written to guide you with our ideas to ensure you get the best results from one of the most amazing plants to ever exist.
How to prepare your Kratom Tea
Before I teach you how to make Kratom tea, answer this question first. What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when people talk about tea? That’s right. A steaming hot beverage that sets off different feelings and emotions depending on its aroma.
You and I both know that tea can sometimes be quite insipid. You’re not just here to learn how to make Kratom tea. You also want some tips on how to make your tea taste better. In order to give the tea more flavor, people add in black tea or green tea. If you like your tea on the sweeter side, you can add sugar and/or honey.
There are also some Kratom potentiators that you can use to help give your tea the specific flavor that you want. Some common potentiators are lemon and magnesium. Remember, you shouldn’t add too much of these potentiators because they tend to be quite strong.
Since you’ll be consuming this, feel free to add the necessary ingredients (in small doses) that you need in order for the tea to suit your taste. Also, make sure you know what kind of experience you want to get so you can adjust the contents of your tea accordingly.
When it comes to making tea, it’s obvious that you should use a teapot. But if, for some reason, you don’t own a teapot, you can just use a regular pot to boil your tea in. Make sure the pot you’re using isn’t too small or too big to avoid heating up too little or too much water. Just fill up the pot, fire up your stove, set it over the flame, and wait for it to heat up.
Take note. When you’re boiling Kratom leaves, make sure you don’t keep it on the stove for too long. Leaving your Kratom to boil for a long period of time can have some negative effects to your product. It can destroy the alkaloids in the leaf. Once they’re destroyed, the product is basically useless.
Although when it comes to Kratom powder, it’s okay to boil it along with the water for long periods of time. I said it’s okay to boil it. But I don’t recommend it. The best way to prepare this is to just let the water simmer. Make sure to keep an eye on it as you prepare your tea. Remember, simmer, not boil.
Another way is to just simply heat up some water without any other ingredient in it. While waiting for the water to heat up, go ahead and put your Kratom powder in an empty mug. Once the waters ready, fill up your mug.
Heat from the water will help activate the alkaloids in the product. If you used any of the potentiators I mentioned above, then you’ve made the perfect dose of Kratom tea.
Now you’re probably wondering, “Can I use my coffee pot to make Kratom tea?” Definitely! Follow the standard procedure on how to make coffee using a coffee pot. Make sure you swap out your coffee grounds with your Kratom product. The great thing about this is you can get at least two mug fulls out of this specific way.
